During their first meeting of 2025, the Southside Area Tennis Association selected Tim DiNoto as their new Program Director for the organization.

In this official capacity, Dinoto said he will lead SATA into the new year by “Expanding our V.A.L.U.E.S. program by 25% through school partnerships and quarterly youth clinics. Additionally, we are aiming to grow participation and increase visibility with targeted campaigns and community events, while securing new sponsorships by strengthening local partnerships.”

Since 2022, Tim has served on the SATA Board of Directors and as the primary leader in the programming for Danville’s youth and adult leagues.

“I’m looking forward to working collaboratively with the board in this new year, continuing to develop community partnerships, and being a champion for our youth,” DiNoto said. “I’m looking forward to really seeing SATA grow in the new year.”

DiNoto, originally a native of Norwich, NY, moved to Danville with his family in 2021. He is an avid tennis player, husband, father and grandfather to one newborn (and one on the way). In his free time he works at KALAN Farm helping his children run a chemical-free produce farm (you can often catch him at the Danville Farmers Market selling farm fresh veggies). He also enjoys fishing and golf.

In addition, the Board of Directors voted in three new officers to lead in 2025. Kira Kania, who has served on the Board since 2021, was elected as the new President of SATA. Kira is an avid tennis player and served as SATA’s secretary prior to her election as President. The Board also elected Deborah DiNoto as Vice-President and Victoria McKinnis as Secretary.

The Board offers its sincerest gratitude to Janet Davis, who will remain on the Board after stepping down as President for the last seven years.
